FAQ

You've got questions, we've got answers!

Dates are always the third week in May.

We are located in the center of the state in Buckhannon, WV. Try typing ‘Jawbone Park’ in your GPS. If that doesn’t work, give us a call!

What can I experience at the festival? We have always been known as “An Exciting Family Tradition.” We have 8 fun-filled days of events for all ages. From 4 different parades, an arts & craft show, and food vendors selling every strawberry dessert imaginable, you’re sure to have a blast! And don’t forget the carnival is here all week!

A good pair of walking shoes and an appetite for strawberry desserts is your best bet! The weather is usually warm & sunny, so sunscreen is also a good idea. And, if you’re planning to watch the parades, pack a lawn chair.

There is NO entrance fee. Money is only needed for the carnival (prices are finalized in May), the food you eat and the gifts you purchase in our local specialty shops!

There is parking available as you enter town including street parking and at WV Wesleyan College. Bus parking is available at local churches and WV Wesleyan College.
